Jenny and Jill were identical twin sisters. Everything they had was exactly alike: eyes, hair, nose, mouth. Jill and Jenny even sounded alike with the same speech patterns and mannerisms. They wore the same clothes and often played games on friends and family who couldn't tell them apart. Jenny and Jill were mirror twins and as they faced each other, it looked as if they were each looking into a mirror at their own reflection. Though, being mirror twins, they had two distinct personalities: They were both gifted and talented in their own way, however, Jenny was imaginative while Jill was intellectual and academic. Jill took Advanced Placement math, English and science classes and Jenny was in Advanced Placement in Art, Social Studies and Literature. They both had friends, but the friends they had were very different. Jenny and Jill did everything together and got along really well, but in very different ways. Jenny and Jill were exactly alike and yet, exact opposites.

No matter where you come from, you can be influenced by your surroundings. But there is truly nobody like you. Some people grow up in an environment where they have different impressions, opportunities and impacts on them – how they respond to those influences is up to them. Who you are is a factor of many different things and no two people are alike. In other words, one could have all the great expectations in the world and still not live up to them – or one could come from nothing and work to have more than they ever dreamed possible. The point is, you are not entitled, and you are not a victim. Nobody owes you a thing, and you don't owe anyone. If you use what you can from your environment and the most from the positive outside influences, making your own decisions along the way, then you are closer to make the most of your personal situation. There is no road map or instruction booklet, only your drive to be the best you can be.
