A SIP of GIN for Monday September 5, 2016
Monday September 5, 2016
Dear GIN Family,
Many of you write me and ask me questions that I am sure many GIN members would be interested in and it inspired me to focus on a platform I will call, “Ask Don”. I recent question that came in was, “What is the most important lesson my Millionaire Mentor taught me”? Well, I cannot answer that because there were so many important lessons and they all work together like a puzzle to make a perfect picture. What I can tell you is one of those important lessons was on “Building Relationships”. We do not need more plans, systems or even skills to climb the ladder of success, what we need is more and better relationships.
The great thing about life is we get to choose the relationships we desire to build and then have the good fortune to grow and develop those relationships. Make a list of all your connections, (we use to call this our “Little Black Book” which contained all the contact information of the people we knew. This was back in 1979 when there was no such thing as email, personal computers or iPhones) and put a number on each name in the importance they are two you. Make it a goal to build 90 percent of your relationships to a ten, and ten percent in the range of 9 to 6 range.
The secret to building powerful relationships is to know the right ones to build and then letting them benefit first before you seek to benefit yourself. Relationships is what builds, business, success and wealth.
